Kennedy Addresses the Nation
A group of Cuban refugees are shown here in a downtown Manhattan hotel listening to President Kennedy's radio-television address to American and the world. Kennedy outlined a 7-point program which included a limited quarantine of Cuba. He said that an attack from Cuba on any nation in the Western hemisphere would cause instant retaliation on the Soviet Union.
