Thomas (Tad) Lincoln (1853-1871)

Looking unhappy, little Tad Lincoln perches sideways, clutching the arm of a chair. The dress he wears indicates he was still too young to wear pants. The fourth son of Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln, he was nicknamed "Tadpole" or Tad.
