Thomas P. ("Boston") Corbett (b.1832)

This Union cavalryman claimed he shot John Wilkes Booth. A fanatical Christian, Corbett castrated himself with scissors, then ended his days in a mental institution. Corbett poses as if reading a book, seated beside Mathew Brady's clock.
