William Warren, Jr. (1812-1888)
William Warren, Jr., was an actor and comedian from Philadelphia. His first stage appearance was at a benefit for his father, also a famous actor, in 1832 at the Arch Street Theatre, as Young Norval in "My Name is Norval." Warren's New York debut was in 1841 at the Park Theatre in "Gregory Guzzle," "My Young Wife," and "My Old Umbrella." In 1845 he made his London debut at the Strand Theatre. Warren then became a member of the Boston Museum theater.
