Here are President Andrew Johnson, who took office after the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, and the members of the cabinet including: James Speed, attorney general; William Seward, secretary of state; Hugh McCulloch, secretary of the treasury; William Dennison, postmaster general; James Harlan, secretary of the interior; Edwin McMasters Stanton, secretary of war; and Gideon Welles, secretary of the navy.
