Rose Coghlan (1853-1932)
Rose Coghlan was an Irish actress who managed her own theater company. She arrived in the U.S. in 1871. Coghlan was well known as Countess Zicka in "Diplomacy" and Stephanie in "Forget-me-not." She performed with the Wallack Company until it disbanded in 1888. Coghlan later appeared in three silent films: "Hot Saturday" (1932), "Jennie Gerhardt" (1933), and "Finishing School" (1934). Rose Coghlan posed with a small dog.
