Andrew Jackson Monument
This statue portrays Major General Andrew Jackson as he appeared while reviewing his troops at the Battle of New Orleans, Louisiana, on January 8, 1815. The statue was dedicated on January 8, 1853, on the 38th anniversary of the battle of New Orleans. The sculptor was Clark Mills. It is located in Lafayette Park across from the White House.
