The Teaser

The Teaser, a Confederate blockade runner, had the first 12 pound bow gun. She encountered the USS Monitor and the USS Maratanza on the James River, on July 4, 1862. A shot from the Maratanza pierced her boiler and her crew was forced to desert her.
