Anna Dickinson (1842-1932)

Anna Dickinson was a popular public lecturer on the national lyceum circuit during the 1860s and 1870s. She spoke on antislavery, women's rights, universal education and politics. She also wrote books and plays and appeared on the stage as Hamlet.
