Yankee Sullivan (1811-1865)
Yankee Sullivan was a small time criminal whose real name was James Ambrose and also went by the alias Frank Murray. He is shown here in a drawing in his boxing stance. This cabinet card was by J. Wood of 208 Bowery in New York City. He was arrested and then found dead in prison in San Francisco.
