Duc de Chartres (1840-1910)

Robert Philippe Louis Eugene Ferdinand D'Orleans, Duc de Chartres, was a French Royalist. He accompanied his uncle, the Prince de Joinville and his brother, the Comte de Paris, on their trip to observe the Civil War. The duke was nicknamed Captain Chatters by General McClellan's men.
