Ezra Stiles Gannett (1801-1871)

Ezra Stiles Gannett was a leading Unitarian minister who was killed in a railroad accident in 1871. He had graduated from Harvard in 1820 and from Harvard Divinity School in 1823. Gannett had edited a number of denominational periodicals, including the Scriptural Interpreter from 1831 to 1835 and the Christian Examiner from 1844 to 1849.
