Ezra Hall Gillett (1823-1875)

Ezra Hall Gillett was a clergyman, author, and educator, who graduated from Yale in 1841 and then attended the Union Theological Seminary. He was the pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Harlem from 1845-70 and a professor of political science at New York University from 1870 until his death.
