"All Fours--Important State of the Game--The Knave About to Be Lost"
This pro-Whig political cartoon portrays the 1836 presidential campaign as a card game. Martin Van Buren and William Henry Harrison are playing cards while the incumbent President Andrew Jackson is peeking at Harrison's winning hand for Van Buren. Richard M. Johnson, Van Buren's running mate, stands behind Van Buren and relays to him what Jackson is saying about Harrison's hand.
