"Grand Match Between the Kinderhook Poney and the Ohio Ploughman"

This pro-Whig political cartoon satirizes the 1836 presidential election in the form of a billiards game. Democratic candidate Martin Van Buren plays pool with Whig candidate William Henry Harrison. They are cheered on by their allies Whig Senators Daniel Webster and Henry Clay (next to Harrison) and President Andrew Jackson and possibly Senator Thomas Hart Benton (for Van Buren).
