East Side of Springfield's Public Square

This is the east side of Springfield's Public Square, across the street from the building where Abraham Lincoln and William Herndon had their law office. The three-story Logan Building is the last edifice at the far left. On its second floor was the United States courtroom where Lincoln tried more than seventy cases.
