Stokely Carmichael

Stokely Carmichael, Chairman of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) smiles while talking to members of the press. Carmichael said he would bring "poll watchers" from Watts and Chicago hot spots to observe elections in the deep South.
