Alexander Hamilton (1755-1804)

Alexander Hamilton was a New York delegate to the Constitutional Convention, the major author of the Federalist papers, and the first secretary of the Treasury of the United States, serving from 1789 to 1795. This a copy of an engraving of Hamilton on a carte de visite by Charles Taber & Company of New Bedford, Massachusetts.
