Clare Boothe Luce (1903-1987)

Clare Boothe Luce was an American writer and political figure who served as a U.S. representative from Connecticut and U.S. ambassador to Italy. She began her career by writing for Vanity Fair and Vogue, but also wrote numerous plays.
