"Home Life at Lawnfield"
This is an illustration of a room inside "Lawnfield," the Mentor, Ohio, home of twentieth president James Garfield. Garfield purchased Lawnfield in 1876. Substantial renovations were made to the house. The Garfield family retained ownership of the property until 1936, when it was donated to the Western Reserve Historical Society.
