Chief Gall
This is a photograph of Chief Gall, who was of the Hunkpapa Dakota tribe, and served as a lieutenant under Crazy Horse. Chief Gall is thought to be the one who killed Colonel Custer at Little Bighorn. An old identification on the photograph says, "taken when hostile." The photograph was taken by David F. Barry, circa 1880.
