Benjamin Harrison (1833-1901)
Benjamin Harrison was the twenty-third president of the United States. He lost the popular vote to Grover Cleveland, but he won in the electoral vote in 1888. Harrison fought in the Civil War and became a brigadier general. He was also the U.S. senator from Indiana from 1881 until 1887.
