This Democratic party parade advertises Winfield S. Hancock for president and William H. English for vice president. The Hancock-English ticket lost in the 1880 election to the Republicans James Garfield and Chester Arthur. This illustration appeared in "Frank Leslie's Illustrated Magazine" on October 9, 1880.
