Jacksonian Campaign Propaganda

This broadside gives the 1828 Jackson election ticket listing local candidates for the Maryland general assembly, George H. Steuart and John V. L. McMahon. It includes the image of an anvil and hammer with the slogan "Jackson Ticket. American System. Speed the plough, the loom & the mattock." (Note: A mattock is a digging tool.)
