Little Crow's Followers

This is a photograph of about twenty Dakota Sioux Native Americans who took part with Little Crow in the Sioux Revolt of 1862. They were photographed circa 1863 in front of a saloon in Canada after their defeat at Wood Lake. The photographer, I. Bensetton, is listed as being from Winnipeg, Manitoba.
