Red Cloud and Rocky Bear, Two Dakota Chiefs

This is a photograph of two Dakota Native American chiefs, Red Cloud, on the left, and Rocky Bear (sometimes identified as Big Road), on the right. The photograph was taken at Pine Ridge Reservation with Major John Burke posed in the center. Red Cloud and Rocky Bear were part of Buffalo Bill Cody's Wild West show.
