Governor-Elect Grover Cleveland

This series of illustrations depicts Grover Cleveland and his supporters awaiting the results of the 1882 New York governor's election. Cleveland was elected governor of New York in 1882 and served from 1883 to 1885. The illustrations appeared in the November 18, 1882 issue of Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper.
