"The City Of Saint Louis Welcomes the National Democratic Convention 1888"

Grover Cleveland was president from 1885-89 and from 1893-97. He made a second attempt at the presidency in 1888, but was unsuccessful. In this print, made for the National Democratic Convention at the Exposition Building, in St. Louis, Missouri, June 5-7, 1888, the image of Cleveland's wife, Frances Folsom Cleveland, is beside that of her husband.
