Democratic Platform and Presidential Nominees, 1892

Grover Cleveland (left) and Adlai Stevenson (right) appear on this patriotic print. Around the edge is a border of leaves and stars. Each star is labeled with the initials of a state, and a number. The left and right pillars have the words "Independence" and "Constitution" above them. At the top of the print, George Washington is surrounded by all the former presidents. Lists of them, keyed by numbers, appear above the two pillars. Stevenson (1835-1914) also served as Cleveland's first assistant postmaster general.
