"Is the Garfield Campaign Simply an Incident in the Grant Campaign?"

This political cartoon is probably a reference to the question of whether Ulysses S. Grant would be able to run for a third presidential term. It comes from "Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper," November 6, 1880. One month later, James Garfield was elected president.
