"The Battle of New Orleans"
General Andrew Jackson (standing at right of cannon with sword raised) leads the American troops in defeating the British in the deciding battle of the War of 1812. Jackson became a national hero after this battle. This lithograph was designed by William Momberger and engraved by Henry Bryan Hall in the latter half of the nineteenth century.
