"Major General Harrison" (1773-1841)

Here is an engraved 1814 portrait of General William Henry Harrison, the hero of the Battle of Tippecanoe and the Battle of the Thames. In 1814, Harrison was the major general in command of the U.S. Army in the Northwest Territory. This print was engraved by W. R. Jones after a painting by J. Wood.
