This lithograph depicts General William Henry Harrison at the Battle of Tippecanoe in 1811. Lieutenant Emmerson has seized the bridle of Harrison's horse and is begging him to stay back from the front lines but Harrison pushed on. It was engraved and published by Nathaniel Currier in 1840.
