"The Political Dancing Jack - a Holiday gift for Sucking Whigs"

This is an anti-Whig political cartoon from the 1840 presidential election satirizing the Whig's party's image-building and manipulation of their candidate William Henry Harrison. Two Whig political leaders, Senator Henry Clay (left) and Congressman Henry A. Wise, pull the strings of a "dancing jack" puppet of General Harrison in uniform.
