This is a campaign broadside for the presidential election of 1840. The text extols the career, military accomplishments and personal qualities of the candidate, William Henry Harrison. A border of engraved illustrated incidents from his life encloses the text. The incidents included are (clockwise from top): Oval portrait of Harrison in uniform; Harrison's participation in Wayne's Victory; Battle of the Thames; Sortie at Fort Meigs; General Harrison surpresses the mutiny at Fort Defiance; General Harrison pardons the assassin; Battle of Tippecanoe; Council of Vincennes; Harrison obtains a cession of 51,000,000 acres of land from the Native Americans; Harrison in command at Fort Washington.
