Label for Tobacco Tin, Decorated with Zachary Taylor on a Horse

"Rough & Ready Twist" tobacco refers to the nickname "Rough and Ready" that was given to Zachary Taylor during the Seminole Wars in Florida. On the tobacco label, General Taylor is dressed in uniform and rides a white horse on a Mexican War battlefield. In 1859, Zachary Taylor would become the twelfth president.
