"Death of Harrison, April 4 A. D. 1841"
This lithograph depicts President William Henry Harrison on his deathbed. Gathered round the bedside were (from left to right): Thomas Ewing, secretary of the treasury; Daniel Webster, secretary of state; Dr. N. W. Worthinton; Reverend Dr. Hawley; Harrison's niece and nephew. Dr. Worthington caught Harrison's last words: "I wish you to understand the true principles of the Government. I wish them carried out. I ask nothing more." It was engraved and published by Nathaniel Currier in 1841.
