The pies represent, from left to right, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New York Election, Florida, South Carolina, New Jersey Politics, Virginia Politics, Illinois, and Mississippi. This cartoon appeared in the November 4, 1882 issue of Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper.
