Les Escaliers de la Gare

This postcard shows the impressive railroad stairs - known as "Grimpette" - at Laon, France. A boy rides his bicycle toward the building on the left, a liquor store advertising "Vins & Spiritueux." In the upper left corner appears one of the towers of the famous Laon Cathedral, built between 1160-1235.
