John M. Davy (1835-1909)
In 1862, John Davy raised Company G of the 108th New York volunteers and was appointed first lieutenant. In 1872, he was appointed by President Grant collector of customs for the port of Genesee. He took a seat in Congress in 1875 as a Republican. In 1888, he was elected justice of the supreme court of New York for the seventh judicial district.
