Duke de Morny (1811-1865)

Charles, Duke de Morny, was the out-of-wedlock son of Queen Hortense and General Flahaut. In 1830 he was made a count. He became an advisor to his half-brother, Louis Napoleon Bonaparte. When the latter became Emperor Napoleon III in 1852, de Morny was named a duke. He was also a successful businessman.
