John Drew, Jr. (1825-1862)

An actor, John Drew was born in Dublin. He made his first appearance on stage at the Bowery Theatre in New York, in 1845, as Dr. O'Toole in "The Irish Tutor." After acting throughout the United States he returned to England in 1855. Drew also published pamphlets and schoolbooks.
