Mark Hill Dunnell (1823-1904)
Dunnell entered the Union Army as a colonel of the 5th Maine and was mustered out in 1861. Dunnell was U.S. consul at Vera Cruz, Mexico, in 1861 and 1862. In 1865 he moved to Minnesota, where he was elected to Congress (1871-1883 and 1889-1891).
