Theodore W. Dwight (1822-1892)
Theodore W. Dwight was a legal educator and writer. In 1845 he was admitted to the New York bar and also named Maynard Professor at Hamilton College. In 1858 he accepted a professorship at the newly established Columbia Law School, where he taught and directed law instruction for fourteen years.
