Theodore W. Dwight (1822-1892)

Professor Dwight was a legal educator and writer. In 1845 he was admitted to the bar and also named Maynard Professor at Hamilton College. In 1858 he accepted a professorship at the newly established Columbia Law School, where he taught law and directed instruction for fourteen years.
