James Adams Ekin (1819-1891)

James Adams Ekin was a quartermaster in the Union army during the Civil War. He was brevetted brigadier general of volunteers. In 1865 Ekin was made a member of the nine-person military commission convened by President Johnson to try the conspirators in the Lincoln assassination.
