Jesse W. Fell (1808-1887)

A civic leader, Jesse Fell founded a newspaper called "The Bloomington Observer and McLean County Advocate" on January 14, 1837, in central Illinois. It was Jesse Fell who nominated Abraham Lincoln for the United States Senate.
