Commodore W. E. Fitzhugh (1832-1889)

This is William E. Fitzhugh, a commodore in the U.S. Navy during the Civil War. In June, 1865, the Confederate ironclad Missouri surrendered to Fitzhugh when he was a lieutenant commander in the West Gulf Blockading Squadron.
