Adam John Glossbrenner (1810-1889)

Adam John Glossbrenner was born in Maryland. He went into the printing business and became a newspaper publisher. Glossbrenner then entered politics and became President Buchanan's private secretary (1860-1861). He was a United States representative from Pennsylvania from 1865-1869.
