Alfred Hanlon (1844-1886)

Alfred Hanlon was born in England. He was one of the celebrated Hanlon Brothers. Their gymnastic and acrobatic performances made them famous in the U.S. and Europe. They made their debut at Niblo's Theatre in New York in 1858. In 1862 they visited California and from there South America and Europe. They returned to New York in 1865.
